Brooke & Logan

Cliff top vistas, laughter, exploding bubbles & sunshine – a seriously cool wedding for a super chilled couple. Not many bride’s would weather a pre-ceremony champagne-to-the-face storm – but Brooke rode it with style, as did her gown… (and with help from the ever awesome Annalee) – which set the tone for a day full of surprises….. So many good times with their first look in the lavender fields, adventures to the batch and back to the pretty lawn at the Pihama Lavender Farm for their heart tugging ceremony and reception. Bruce + Joanne

Cozy cuddles, belly laughs, warm hearty food and great company – just a recipe for a great winter shin dig! I started on the journey with Bruce & Joanne two weeks prior to their wedding – photographing them as a couple as is traditional in Joanne’s culture. We had a first look at their home followed by an adventure about the Mountain…. stopping where we thought the scenery would photograph beautifully. Our Mt decided to hide, but the sun burst through, breaking up any icicles and casting some beautiful light. Then came the wedding day – a true chiller – thank goodness for traditions! Held at Deken’s Barn, a perfectly intimate ceremony with their nearest and dearest. Heartfelt vows, a tea ceremony and finished off with a boot kicking burn up on the D floor….Thanks for your awesomeness! xx

Bowls, bespoke dresses, wine & pom poms – Erin and Chris’ day was destined to be a little bit different – and how pretty it was! The heavens opened in the morning and cleared just in time for the lawn ceremony. Erin made her own dress and those of her bridal party, styled her wedding, all whilst working her job and a Mum to two – what a superwoman!! ……And with all of this – their special day was stress-free, easy and beautiful – just like them. BREATHTAKING….When things seem to be going not to plan but turn out heavenly… the skies opened last weekend and blessed us! Playing in the rain worked a treat on Saturday when Reto and Erica shared their special day. Reno met his beautiful wife for a first look in their New Plymouth home before setting off on some creative adventures. Brollies, water, laughter, beef jerky and wine – such a fun day! With a bunch of family travelling from far corners of the globe to celebrate at Okurukuru, Taranaki showed 4 seasons in a day and we got some gorgeous results.
